The Lightning Bolt

Following her glorious Olympic swimming triumph, mega hero Rebecca 'The Dolphin' Adlington has had a Yates’s pub in Mansfield named after her.

It was always going to be hard for the Jamaicans to match this tasteful and timeless memento when they were honouring chicken nugget-scoffing superhuman Usain Bolt, but I think they've managed it – just. He's been given his own dancehall dance called the Lightning Bolt.

After his 100m and 200m finals, Bolt did the Nuh Linga and the Gully Creepa dances (which are also songs by Elephant Man).

As a tribute, Elephant Man does the Lightning Bolt above. Enjoy.

what's your problem? so some people show their appreciation for a very talented athelete who did her country proud. what have you ever done save writing whingey comments on music blogs. why don't you go sit in the corner and have a tug and a weep.

i like the bit at the start of the dance where he crouched down like he was about to start the race.

bolt should dance his way through his next race and see if anyone can catch him.

only in britain could an olympic gold medalist get some pub named after her.....

oh dear

you are an idiot for buying in to the olympics and thinking a talented 'athelete' deserves that much attention. your comment only proves my point. yes that's right, well done, absolutely anyone who has a slightly cynical opinion is immediately a geek who goes on 'music blogs' to be snide all day long. was this blog or the comment even related to music? no, i think not. and i've done a lot thanks you mr autism - and my face is still better than that ho

LOL BUT SHE DUN US PROUD THO DINT SHE??!??!!?!?!?!?!?!?!? ENGLAND

why is 'athelete' in quotation marks in the comment above? surely she actually is and athlete. that's not debatable. You could put 'talented' in quotation marks, as that is subjective, but to be fair, she won some gold medals, so she's probably quite talented too.

clearly it's because the person spelt athlete 'athelete'

ps rebecca adlington looks like she dived in to the shallow end by mistake
