I went to watch the Roll Deep Film by Lucia Helenka in Phonica today. It's basically lots of outtakes from 'Practice Hours' but it was well worth the 30 minutes of my time to hear the previews of the new Roll Deep album, which soundtrack the film.
The Film isn't worthy of much comment, although it's very amusing in parts. One moment of note is when discarda is overheard on the phone promising his mum that he'll be home soon.
The album, however evoked lots of thoughts. Few of them positive, so I'll keep them to myself for now. It appears Roll Deep have attempted to make a UK version of The College Dropout but not very successfully from what I heard today.
